No it is not Jimi Hendrix. Jimi had passed away at least a couple of years prior to this. The man grinding the hell out of the Hammond organ is the legendary Deacon Jones, who used to also introduce Freddie at their shows. He would say "if your not high tonight, don't even worry because tonight you are gonna experience a Freddie King blues high" and we all would. This band was freakin awesome.
