´s day 2005 in Santiago, Chile. On that day, Zack de la Rocha took out his jarana and shared his deep interest in Son Jarocho (traditional music from Veracruz Mexico) with us. He sings beautifully and has very long fingers.

éxico has numerous Sones that are diverse since they vary region by region and are not even of any relation to Cuban music. I am a mariachi musician myself, have been one for 12 years,and grew up with mariachi; I know from experience that the rhythms in Son del Mariachi are INDIGENOUS. Cuba did NOT
give México the Son, México gave MÉXICO its Sones and Cuba gave CUBA its Son.
